Camarines Sur on Saturday set a new Guinness world record for the largest zumba class with 13,350 participants, breaking Mandaluyong City's record of 12,975 in 2015.
The zumba session called "Grand Zumba Kontra Droga" was the first activity of the province's Kaogma Festival 2018.
Now on its second year, the activity aims to promote an active lifestyle as a way to fight drug addiction.
According to the organizing committee, the preparation took almost a year, with the help of the zumba group Zayaw Pilipinas.
Governor Migz Villafuerte said each town and baranggay in the province promised to send participants.
