Bayani Fernando is slated to retain his seat as Marikina first district representative based on the latest poll results.
The former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chief and former Marikina mayor is headed for a landslide victory as he claimed 56,553 of the votes over Doc Cadiz (13,732).
This will be his second term as congressman.
In the second district, Stella Quimbo won the congressional race by taking 79,164 votes over Eugene de Vera (13,896).

Former congressman Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro was reelected after running unopposed as Marikina mayor, while Marion Andress won as vice mayor.
The results was based on 98.57 percent of votes accounted by Comelec as of 9:22 p.m. on Tuesday.
