MANILA – The organization supported by “Ang Probinsyano” lead stars Coco Martin and Yassi Pressman continues to be among the top party-list groups in the 2019 midterm elections.

With 94.72 percent of election returns (partial and unofficial) already tallied as of 12:53 p.m., the Ang Probinsyano party-list group is at fifth place with 741,300 votes.

It represents 2.76 percent of all the votes cast in the party-list system so far, which would mean at least a seat in the House of Representatives.

Among the party list’s nominees are Alfred Delos Santos, Ronnie Ong, Edward Delos Santos, Ronaldo Tuazon and Eubendino Bitor.

According to its official Facebook page, it is Ang Probinsyano’s advocacy to uplift the standard of living of ordinary families in the provinces.

Leading the race ahead of Ang Probinsyano are ACT-CIS (2,540,234 votes), Bayan Muna (1,083,262 votes), Ako Bicol (1,018,433 votes) and CIBAC (902,781 votes).

The other party lists which are “two-percenters” include 1Pacman (694,520 votes), Marino (642,667 votes) and Probinsyano Ako (612,363 votes).
