MANILA - Outgoing senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero has been proclaimed as winner in the gubernatorial race in the province of Sorsogon.
MANILA - Outgoing senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero has been proclaimed as winner in the gubernatorial race in the province of Sorsogon.
Escudero of Nationalist People's Coalition won after receiving the highest number of votes at 303,960 on Tuesday morning while rival Bladi Frivaldo (PDPLBN) got only 31,867 votes, based from election returns transmitted from all 768 clustered precincts.
