In Youtube videos titled “Totoong Narco List,” he claimed drug money was funneled into the bank accounts of Duterte’s son former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, his son-in-law Manases Carpio, and former aide Christopher "Bong" Go.

PNP chief Police General Oscar Albayalde said investigators tasked to check Advincula’s background divulged that law enforcement agencies had come across him as a potential informant charging P40,000 to P70,000.

The PNP chief admitted that he doubts the credibility of the whistleblower, pointing out that the latter has yet to present any evidence to support his claims.

Albayalde noted that his criminal records indicate that he may be a con man good at fooling people out of their money.

PNP data showed that Advincula was earlier convicted of large-scale illegal recruitment and served 6 years in prison. He also has a standing estafa case lodged by the National Bureau of Investigation.

"Sabi ko nga po, unang una, kung gusto nila magreklamo, puwede naman po. In fact, kung 'yun pong pinagsasabi niya sa YouTube niya, puwede po, cyber libel na 'yan. Remember, meron na po tayong Anti-Cyber Crime Law ngayon, puwede na po siyang masampahan ng cyber libel kung talagang may magrereklamo sa kaniya," Albayalde told DZMM.
