Jack Ma to donate 50,000 more COVID-19 test kits to Philippines, says Pacquiao

MANILA - Chinese billionaire Jack Ma will give 50,000 more COVID-19 test kits to the Philippines, Sen. Manny Pacquiao said Thursday.

The tycoon earlier pledged to donate 500,000 face masks and 50,000 COVID-19 testing kits.

"Good thing na si Jack Ma magbibigay pa ulit ng mga 50,000 na testing kits. Magbibigay pa siya ulit ng additional," Pacquiao told ANC.

The senator, however, said he has yet to be informed when the donations would arrive in Manila.

Pacquiao and Ma made headlines last year after the two posted a sparring video on Instagram.

As of Wednesday, the Philippines has recorded 10,004 cases of COVID-19, with 1,506 recoveries and 658 deaths.
