MANILA - Hundreds of thousands of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members gathered on Roxas Boulevard, the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, and in other countries around the world on Sunday in an attempt to break 5 Guinness World Records, including the largest mosaic formed by people.

The Guinness World Record for the largest human mosaic was set in November 2017 when 4,500 members of the Abeer Medical Group in Jeddah formed the group's flag.

INC's human mosaic showing the church's flag was formed by 9,000 members, Guinness adjudicator Lucia Sinigagliesi was quoted as saying in the religious group's website.

On the same day, INC broke the record for the longest human sentence--PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF IGLESIA NI CRISTO--with 23,235 of its members participating in the event, which was part of their "Worldwide Walk to Fight Poverty."

- Largest Charity Walk (multiple venues)

- Most Nationalities in a Charity Walk.

The Manila Police District said an estimated 1.5 million Iglesia ni Cristo members joined the walk against poverty along Roxas Boulevard and at the Rizal Park in Manila.
