MANILA - Vice President Leni Robredo this week proudly shared her youngest daughter's latest achievement: passing admission tests of the University of the Philippines (UP) and the New York University (NYU).

Robredo, in a Facebook post, said Sunday that her 18-year-old daughter Jillian has been accepted into NYU's BioMolecular Science Program under the Tandon School of Engineering.

She said Jillian learned of the admission test results about a month ago, but that "good news is always good news no matter how late."

The teen has yet to decide on her enrollment as she was still awaiting word on her scholarship applications, said Robredo.

"As of now, her scholarship is still partial and she has decided that she will only go if she gets full scholarship," she added.

Robredo once again wrote proudly about Jillian on Monday, when results of the UP College Admission Test came out.

The Vice President shared a photo of the exam results, showing that Jillian was accepted in the UP Diliman's BS Mathematics program.

"Good news come in pairs. Congrats, Jill!" read the caption of Robredo's post.

In January, Jillian also passed the entrance exams of the Ateneo de Manila University and the De La Salle University, her mother had shared.

Robredo's eldest daughter, Tricia, is studying medicine at the Ateneo while her middle child, Aika, is a student at the prestigious Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
