MANILA - Another technical glitch forced the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) to limit its operations Tuesday morning.
MRT-3 implemented a provisional service from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard stations from 5:43 a.m. to around 6:10 a.m.
Long queues were reported at the Araneta and North Avenue stations, according to the official account of the MRT-3 administration.
Twenty trains, the maximum number that the railway can handle, were deployed after the incident until the morning rush hours.
Tuesday's service interruption was the first such incident of the day.
The MRT-3 has recorded an average of up to 2 daily incidents since January.
