MAYNILA - (UPDATED) Nasunog ang isang residential area sa Technological University of the Philippines compound sa Barangay Western Bicutan, siyudad ng Taguig.
Tanaw ang sunog mula sa Skyway. Sa larawan mula kay Jay de Roxas at video na kuha ni Mark Bien, makikita ang makapal na usok mula sa nasusunog na mga bahay.
Itinaas sa ikalimang alarma ang sunog na nagsimula alas-3:23 ng hapon. Ibig sabihin aabot na sa 12 firetruck ang kinakailangang rumesponde sa insidente.
Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon ng Bureau of Fire Protection sa Taguig, lumalabas na nagsimula sa bahay ng isang Alma Santillan ang sunog.

Mabilis umano itong kumalat dahil dikit-dikit ang mga bahay na karamihan ay gawa sa light materials tulad ng kahoy, trapal, at mga pinagtagpi-tagping yero.
Isang residente naman ang nirespondehan ng Southside Rescue matapos itong makagat ng aso habang sinasalba nito ang kanyang mga gamit mula sa nasusunog na tahanan.
