MANILA — De La Salle University (DLSU) on Sunday said 79 homeless individuals are taking shelter in their campus amid the enhanced community quarantine imposed in Luzon.

"Seventy-nine individuals, among them women and elderly, are currently staying at the 2nd floor of the Enrique Razon Sports Center until the Luzon-wide lockdown is lifted," the institution said.

DLSU said it is seeking financial donations to feed the individuals for the duration of the month-long quarantine.

"Financial donations to buy food, medicines, and health kits are accepted through AJ KALINGA FOUNDATION, INC [and can be sent to their] Asia United Bank Peso Savings Account no. 082-11-000496-2."
