MANILA – Six government hospitals in the eastern and northern parts of Metro Manila continue to suffer from low water pressure, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said Saturday, amid the continuing water shortage in parts of Metro Manila.

Among affected hospitals are the Rizal Medical Center in Pasig City, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City, and the Mandaluyong City Medical Center and the National Center for Mental Health in Mandaluyong.

The PRC said it continues to deliver water supply to affected hospitals through its 8 water tankers capable of filling up a high-pressure water system.

As of 12 p.m. Saturday, PRC has distributed a total of 770,000 liters of water to affected hospitals.

The PRC also distributed 12,000 liters of water to the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation in Quezon City and 10,000 liters to residents of Barangay Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City.
