MANILA (UPDATE) - The Sandiganbayan on Friday found former Optical Media Board (OMB) chairman Ronnie Ricketts guilty of graft.

The anti-graft court's 4th division sentenced Ricketts to 6 to 8 years in jail and perpetually barred him from holding public office.

It can be recalled that the Office of the Ombudsman filed a graft complaint against Ricketts over the alleged return of confiscated pirated DVDs and VCDs to its manufacturer, Sky High Marketing Corporation in 2010.

Following the court's decision, Ricketts and Perez have been ordered to each post an additional P30,000 bail bond.
