The debate series continues for two more Sundays, on February 24 and on March 3, to give voters a chance to hear candidates’ positions on pressing national issues before casting their votes in the midterm elections on May 13.

Trusted broadcast journalists Karen Davila and Alvin Elchico will anchor this town hall debate series.

Harapan 2019 will be done in a "town hall" format where candidates will be able to air their views on key national issues put forward by the Filipino public.

Senatorial aspirants will answer challenging questions that will let voters get a clearer picture of their vision for the country's future.

Before the main program, viewers can tune in as early as 6:30 p.m. to take an exclusive look at what’s happening behind the scenes, as well as get valuable insights into this year’s senatorial race.

For the maiden offering, confirmed guest candidates are Bam Aquino, Glenn Chong, Chel Diokno, Larry Gadon, Samira Gutoc, Florin Hilbay, Jiggy Manicad, Willie Ong, Koko Pimentel, and Francis Tolentino.
