ILIGAN CITY - The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Region 10 on Friday destroyed around P12 million worth of illegal drugs.
The drugs, mainly shabu and marijuana weighing more than 7 kilos, were evidence linked to cases pending at the region's trial courts.
The illegal drugs were burned through a preheater facility in a cement plant here, which has a temperature of over 1,000 degrees Celsius. The facility manager said such heat level would not leave any residue.
