The tectonic quake, which was earlier reported to be a magnitude 5.6 tremor, struck at 6:25 p.m. and has a depth of 137 kilometers.

Intensity 5, which may feel like a strong shaking and rocking and may cause hanging objects to swing violently, was felt in the town of Villasis.
