Over a hundred ballot boxes from one of the contested pilot provinces included in the poll protest filed by Sen. Bongbong Marcos is now at the Commission on Elections office in Camarines Sur.

As of 8:55 Tuesday morning, 104 ballot boxes from the town of Libmanan arrived at the Comelec office.

Ballot boxes from the town of Milaor were also retrieved.

A total of 537 ballot boxes from the first and second districts of Camarines Sur are expected to arrive today for the start of the vote recount.

Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental are the three contested pilot provinces up for the recount.

Marcos lost to Vice-President Leni Robredo by just 263,473 votes, making the 2016 vice-presidential contest the tightest vice-presidential race in recent history. Reports from Rizza Mostar and Jessa Mylce Mella, ABS-CBN News
