MANILA (UPDATE) – An international school in Las Piñas City received a bomb threat on Monday morning.
According to Sr. Supt. Adolfo Samala, Jr., chief of Las Pinas Police, a staff member of Southville International School & Colleges received at least five consecutive text messages at around 9:30 a.m. saying a bomb was planted inside the campus.
The bomb threat prompted the evacuation of all students, mostly Koreans and Chinese, from the school's five buildings. Classes for the rest of the day have been suspended.
As of posting, bomb experts were inspecting the school buildings for any explosives. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
