An Italian astronaut on Thursday posted a photograph of Manila as seen from space.

The photo, taken from the International Space Station, was posted on the Twitter account of NASA astronaut Ignazio Magnani.

"Earth from Space. LIVE from Space Station," Magnani said in the photo of the Philippines' capital as he tagged ABS-CBN News' TJ Manotoc and Jeff Canoy.

In reply, Manotoc posted a short clip of the International Space Station orbiting above Manila. According to Magnani, the spacecraft was visible from Manila around 7:31 in the evening, Thursday.

Magnani has been actively posting photos of Earth. His latest post, as of writing, was a shot of Guatamela from the International Space Station.
