WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?
People with Type 2 diabetes, PCEDM noted, commonly learn about their condition during routine laboratory tests as they may not experience any bothersome symptoms of the disease.

The group advised people living with diabetes to watch out for more serious symptoms such as blurring of vision, frothy or bubbly urine, tingling sensation or feeling "pins and needles" on the hands and feet, leg pain, and abdominal discomfort and pain "because these may be indicative of the presence of the multi-systemic complications of diabetes."
PCEDM said that wounds that take a long time to heal, especially on the feet, could indicate diabetes.
