Filipino Zumba instructor Mark Kramer brought the house down at a recent Zumba event in Edmonton.

Kramer is a former member of Streetboys and is the founder of TML Crew.

He has a strong following on social media: almost three million subscribers on YouTube and 122,000 followers on Instagram.

This is Kramer's first Canada tour. He made his first stops in Calgary and in Edmonton.

The Zumba instructor will hold other events in eight more cities across the country.

In Calgary, he performed with Jayson Zamora, another Filipino Zumba instructor.

Zamora is now based in Calgary where he is enrolled in a city college as an international student.

"My first collaboration with Kramer was way back in the Philippines," he said. "This is not the first time. We're like dancing brothers. His energy is contagious."

Over 400 people attended the Zumba event in Calgary, while 300 people participated in the iteration in Edmonton.

Filipinos and people from other cultures participated in the event.

"[It] was really fun," said Zamora. "The response from the attendees was wonderful."

The event's organizer Manny Araban is a Zumba instructor himself and is based in Edmonton.

He said he is grateful for the support from the Filipino community in the area.

Kramer's next stop is in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
