Organizers have announced the schedule of activities for the inaugural Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam. 

Candidates are set to arrive in Hanoi on September 12 and 13, with their sashing ceremony to be held on September 15.

They will then move to Ninh Binh for two events -- a fashion show on September 17 and the national costume competition on September 18. 

Delegates will take part in pre-pageant activities in the city of Bao Loc and the province of Long An, before heading to Ho Chi Minh City for the Best of the World Festival on September 28 and 29. 

The preliminary competition will then take place on October 2, also in Ho Chi Minh City, followed by the coronation night on October 5 at Phu Tho Stadium. 

Miss Cosmo has been making a splash among pageant fans after it has been announced that Paula Shugart, former president of the Miss Universe Organization, is part of the judging panel.

Two Filipinas will be competing for the Miss Cosmo crown -- Ahtisa Manalo, who is representing the Philippines, and half-Kiwi Franki Russell, who has been selected as New Zealand's delegate.
