Bilasano, a 25-year-old speech language pathologist, bested 38 other delegates with Taiwans' Anita Ang hailed as first runner-up.

During her send-off party, the candidate thanked the overwhelming support of the Filipino and local designers who lent their creations which she wore during the competition.

Stephanie Fernandez of Colombia was hailed second runner-up, followed by Sabne Lata Mailei of Tonga as third runner-up while Thailand's Warunchana Radomlek was named fourth runner-up.
