It's not every day that you see an international pageant titleholder braving the heavy rain while riding a motorcycle taxi.

Former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel has been dubbed a "relatable queen" by many Filipino netizens as she continues to share her commuting experience in Manila.

Her most recent one involved getting an "outdoor shower" as she hopped on a motorcycle taxi despite the rain to beat the traffic.

"It was this or sit in the car for 3 hours," she said in an Instagram post.

In another clip, the Filipino-American beauty queen can be seen bracing herself for road hazards as she refuses to be stuck in traffic for 2 and a half hours.

"Now you have to worry about the upcoming 4-way intersection with no light, everyone ignoring the lane markings, and making it home before it rains," she said.

"And do the honks mean 'hello' or 'move out of the way?'" she added in jest.

Many of Gabriel's Filipino Instagram followers praised her for being "brave" and "cool," pointing out that not everyone is willing to try this mode of transportation in Manila.

Aside from motorcycle taxi, she has also tried riding a jeepney, with the beauty queen sharing her experience on Instagram.

Gabriel rose to fame after becoming the first Filipino-American to win the Miss Universe crown. She represented the United States during her pageant stint back in 2022.
