In studies shared by artist Michael Joselo Villanueva, he depicted a Filipino family's hardship in the dinner table for the outfit of ACT Teachers' Rep. France Castro.

He incorporated his fascination for Asian aesthetics with his design on foreign aggression in the Philippine seas for Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas' look.

"I tried to make Rep. Castro’s artwork look simple to make the scene gloomy as it shows a hardship of an ordinary Filipino family," Villanueva told ABS-CBN News in a written response.

"Rep Brosas’ artwork represents my personal style and fascination to Asian aesthetics, since its about foreign aggression in PH seas, the simplest editorial elements will be dragons, boats and eagles," he added.

Meanwhile, Albert Raqueño designed Kabataan Rep. Raoul Manuel's barong using the color scheme of blue and yellow with touches of red, to show the youth's fight for their future.

"For the 2024 SONA, Kabataan Partylist Rep. Manuel is set to wear a protest Barong featuring a mural of an alternative future envisioned by Filipino youth painted as a toga hood in front of the Barong. This symbolizes the hope of the new generation to graduate from the social ills dragging the country to further crisis and even outright war," Kabataan party-list said in a release.

"This connects to the backside of the Barong where a fist symbolizing the unity of the youth to break free and fight back against the primordial danger of war and aggression imposed by U.S. provocations (bald eagle) against its rival China (dragon) amid the disunity of warring factions of the ruling dynasties in the country," they added.

"Such a future is achieved and cradled by young workers and peasants, the empowered majority, taking action in laying down a landscape of progress radiating from the sun with a baybayin letter "ka" in the middle symbolizing Kabataan as the hope of the nation. The cradled future highlights crucial reforms such as genuine agrarian reform, national industrialization, nationalist, scientific and progressive culture, equality and peace. These are substantial social reforms advocates by the youth in order to bring about a real and new Philippines."
