MANILA -- Actress Ara Mina addressed the confusion surrounding the use of a laptop during the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) show "One More Chance," clarifying that her companion was not the individual using the device.

In an interview regarding her upcoming concert "All of Me," Mina set the record straight, revealing that it was a person seated in front of her who had the laptop, not her companion.

"I also saw the laptop. It's the girl infront of me nakaupo 'yung may ari ng laptop. Alam mo may laptop ako ah pero nasa bahay nandun lang sa cabinet. Wala rin siyang (her companion) dalang laptop. Hindi related sa amin 'yung girl sa harap na may laptop kasi ang lumabas sa amin 'yung laptop,” Mina emphasized, as she urged the public not to rush to judgment based on appearances alone.

(I also saw the laptop. The owner of the laptop was the girl in front of me. You know, I have a laptop at home, it's just in the cabinet. My companion did not bring a laptop. The girl in front of us with the laptop is not related to us because the laptop was in front of us.)

Responding to questions about being photographed using a phone during the show, Mina explained: "Two hours and a half 'yung play, normal lang sisilipin mo rin! Baka sabihin ng asawa ko bakit hindi ako sumasagot. Kahit ako naman lalabas nalang ako kung mag-phone ako the entire play.”

She further advised, "Sometimes huwag tayo agad mag-ja-judge just for one picture. Ganito 'yan eh, 'yung anggulo parang ay! ang laki ng braso niya pero pag nakita mo naman sa personal bakit ang liit ng braso niya? Kasi mali 'yung anggulo.”

(Let's not quickly judge based on one picture. That's how it is. The angle may make someone's arm look huge, but when you see them in person, why does their arm look small? It's because the angle was wrong!)

Mina is set to headline her 30th anniversary concert next month, July 11, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
