ABS-CBN International's Kollective Hustle recently held its second "Brilliance Loves Company" event with Logitech to cap off Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

The event sought to champion Filipino innovation and excellence.

The networking undertaking featured a distinguished panel of speakers that included Romeo Marquez Jr.

The co-creator of Kollective Hustle is an international motivational speaker and success coach.

"Kollective Hustle is about collaborating and elevating," he said. "So, let’s continue to collaborate and elevate one another as a community."

Gina Mariko Rosales of "Make It Mariko" was also among the speakers. The co-creative director of the Bay Area creative events agency shared how she wanted to create unforgettable moments for people.

"One day I realized how much I love events. I didn’t know I wanted to be an event planner," she recalled. "But I would think about these event ideas I would go to sleep thinking about them. I would wake up thinking about them."

Alex Martin of the streetwear brand "Who Cares," meanwhile, talked about the importance of teamwork and alliance.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want last, go together," he told participants. "Where I work at, we collaborate and that’s a big thing for us. We work together to lift each other up."

As for Charity Nicolas of Stantec, she tackled fulfilling one's purpose in life.

"You never know you might find your passion and then once you find it, you want to pursue it and make the world a better place," said Stantec's senior director of health and safety. "There’s something for you that you feel you just have to do — follow them."

Singer-songwriter Jaron Liclican has worked for big tech companies such as TikTok and Indeed. He talked about finding the balance in pursuing passions.

"I always knew that my calling was to be a performer," he said. "Until now, I am performing. At the same time, I have a full-time job working in tech. I think what’s also important is having that balance when you’re able to."

As they received valuable insights from industry leaders, attendees also had the opportunity to network with fellow professionals to create meaningful connections that not only empower themselves but also uplift the community.
