Pasig River Esplanade

The first phase of the 25-kilometer Pasig River Esplanade located behind the Manila Post Office recently opened for the public to enjoy its sceneries, features or simply to stroll along its intricately lit banks.

Currently, the open section stretches from Jones Bridge until near the end of the Manila Post Office. Benches can be found on the side for visitors to rest on after a long walk.

The project is expected to traverse 5 cities and will eventually include jogging paths, bike lanes and commercial areas with retail stores and cafes.

Operating hours: The fountains and lights section is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. but visitors can come at any time of the day, according to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.
