MANILA — An attendee in the annual fair of the University of the Philippines found the courage to confess his feelings -- with the help of OPM band The Juans.

In a press release, The Juans said Rex took more than a year to admit that he has feelings for Patricia.

"Take it from Rex and Patricia, whose love story unfolded right before everyone's eyes at this year’s UP Fair. As The Juans performed the song live, Rex finally (as in FINALLY because it took him a year!) found the courage to confess his feelings to Patricia," The Juans said.

"The crowd erupted in cheers as the campus couple became official, proving that sometimes all it takes is courage and a whole lot of love. So go ahead and let your heart do the talking. Kung hindi mo susubukan, paano mo malalaman kung pwede maging kayo?" they added.

The OPM band dropped its new single "pwede ba kitang ligawan?" to celebrate Valentine's Day. With the new single, the band wants people to muster up the courage to ask the question and start falling in love.

"Love is definitely in the air as we see couples sharing sweet moments, kilig messages filling up our Facebook and Instagram feeds, and love song recommendations greeting us every time we open Spotify. And if you haven't heard it yet, The Juans just released their new single 'pwede ba kitang ligawan?' -- sign na talaga ‘to from the universe for you to take a chance on that special someone," the band said in a press release. 

"Let The Juans' new single be the soundtrack to your love story this love month. You never know, your crush might just feel the same way! So muster up the courage and ask them, “pwede ba kitang ligawan?” four simple words that could change everything. Malay mo, baka makamit mo ang matamis niyang oo at payagan ka niyang tumambay sa puso niya," they added.

“And if you need an extra push, just remember that you get what you give. So give it your all, take a risk, and make this Valentine’s season one to remember. Dahil sa love, walang imposible,” The Juans leader Carl Gueverra said.
