A well-known Japanese dessert shop has announced its permanent closure in the Philippines after seven years of operation.

BAKE Cheese Tart shared the sad news in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The store is known for its freshly baked cheese tarts made using fluffy cream cheese mousse and a double baked crust.

BAKE Cheese Tart opened its first Philippine branch at The Podium mall in Ortigas in 2017, followed by a store at Power Plant mall in Makati in 2018.
