Even if we already know what to do, we always look for that one friend who will push us to do it. We all need a #MissBulgaria in our lives.

MANILA - Miss Bulgaria Radostina Todorova has caught the attention of Filipino netizens after she was seen urging the Philippines' Pia Wurtzbach to take her walk as the new Miss Universe following a controversial conclusion to the pageant.

On Monday, American host Steve Harvey made a mistake of announcing Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, as the winner of the coveted crown.

The 58-year-old Harvey quickly corrected himself and apologized for the gaffe, but not before confusing Wurtzbach who admitted that she did not want to take center stage because she was not sure if it was another mistake.

Wurtzbach eventually did, however, after being egged on by fellow candidates, most notably by Miss USA Olivia Jordan, who also lost to Megan Young in the 2013 Miss World pageant, and Todorova.

A Facebook user named Ron Cruz even posted a screenshot of the moment Todorova appeared to have shouted "go" at Wurtzbach. He wrote: "Even if we already know what to do, we always look for that one friend who will push us to do it. We all need a #MissBulgaria in our lives."

On Twitter, "Miss Bulgaria" became part of the top trending topics locally with many Filipinos heaping praise on Todorova.

On her Facebook account, Todorova seemed to have been made aware of her newfound fame in the country. She shared a video where her gesture to Wurtzbach was highlighted.
