Drama at Iglesia Ni Cristo

First, an online plea for support, then a YouTube video alleging persecution, and before things get out of hand, a denial by a leader of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ). In a span of hours, the secretive church's dirty linen became public.

But the whole picture isn't clear yet. Behind the walls of this house on Commonwealth Ave. in Quezon City lie some of the answers to the rift that appears to be shaking the foundations of this church of around 3 million followers. For now, the answers remain behind the steel gates.
