MANILA, Philippines – If you're an Azkals fan, here's something to add to your burning passion for the Philippines' football team -- officially licensed t-shirts and jerseys.
The collection, recently launched by ABS-CBN Corp., is in line with the multimedia giant's partnership with the Philippine Football Federation to air the Azkals' games on Studio 23 until next year.
Jerseys are priced at P500 each while the shirts, which come in different colors and designs, cost P300 apiece. These will be available in limited quantities at the ABS-CBN store in the ELJ building, Quezon City.
The Azkals have shown what they're made of after thumping the Mongolian Blue Wolves on Wednesday night in the Asian Football Confederation challenge cup qualifier, at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City on Wednesday night.
More than 15,000 Filipino fans cheered the football team in yet the the biggest football match in the Philippines in years.
The Azkals have become the darlings of Filipino sports fans following their feat in the 2010 Suzuki Cup.
