MANILA – Tony Award winner Lea Salonga is set to return as Ezrulie, the goddess of love, in the Broadway revival of “Once on this Island.”

She will perform during the final weeks of the musical, or from December 27 to January 6.

“And back in the sand I go! I’m so happy that I get to close this beautiful Tony-winning and Grammy-nominated production!” she said in a Facebook post on Thursday.

“The show is the gift that keeps on giving, and I’m thrilled that I get the gift back this Christmas!”

Salonga took her final bow in “Once on this Island” last June, with the singer saying that the musical “will have my heart forever.”

She was voted Best Featured Actress in a Musical by readers of Broadway World for her performance as Ezrulie.
