MANILA – Kayla Rivera makes her Trumpets debut as she joins Sam Concepcion in the theater group’s 2020 production of “Joseph the Dreamer.”
Rivera will play the role of Asenath, wife of the lead character Joseph (Concepcion).
“I am very excited to be part of ‘Joseph the Dreamer,’” she said in a statement. “And to work, for the first time, with Trumpets.”
Trumpets’ “Joseph the Dreamer” will run from February to March 2020 at Maybank Theater in Taguig City.
The musical will be directed by Paolo Valenciano with musical direction by Myke Salomon, choreography by Mike Arda, production design by Mio Infante, and lighting direction by Dong Calinacion.
Other cast members include returning stars Audie Gemora (Jacob), Bituin Escalante (Rachel), and Carlo Orosa (Pharaoh), as well as Mitzi Lao, RJ Dela Fuente, Carlos Canlas, Pauk Anthony Valdez, Neo Rivera, Jim Ferrer, Renz Bernardo, Edrei Tan, John Paul Fausto, Joshua Ade Valenzola, Guido Gatmaytan, Aldo Vencilao, Alys Serdenia, Jo Mari Logdat, Coleen Paz, Samantha Libao, Kathleen Francisco, Elai Estrella, Matthew Barbers and Eli Luis.
