MANILA – Dr. Drolah Sanchez could not believe it when a miracle unfolded before her eyes after a baby, who was dead when she was born, came back to life for “medically unexplainable” reasons.

Speaking on “Rated K,” Sanchez said the baby did not show any signs of life when she delivered her due to all the complications she suffered from being in her mother’s womb for 42 weeks.

“Si baby Maria Teresa, meron siyang pediatrician. Hindi lang ako 'yung naggamot doon. Chineck niya lahat. Normally, alam nating hindi possible 'yan kasi from the start naman, inilabas nating patay 'yung bata. Ito talagang wala,” she said.

Despite this, Sanchez tried to revive the infant as she called on Mother Teresa to pray for the baby so that she may be given a chance to live.

To her surprise, the baby came back to life and started to breathe on her own after 25 minutes.

Calling it a miracle, the baby’s mother Prescila Catarinim named her daughter Maria Teresa.
