ILOCOS NORTE - Residents of Paoay, Ilocos Norte on Tuesday celebrated Tumba Festival as part of the province's "Semana ti Ar-aria".

The Tumba Festival is a cultural tradition in Paoay held in celebration of All Soul's Day.

All barangays in Paoay join a competition showcasing various Ilocano traditions in commemorating and honoring the dead.

Residents prepare exhibits wherein they decorate their booths with food offerings such as patupat, baduya, sinuman, pinais and busi. All dishes are made of glutinous rice.
