MANILA – Bea Patricia “Patch” Magtanong seems to have gotten the attention of the organizers of Miss International 2019.
This as the Philippine representative is one of the five candidates handpicked to join a sponsored regional tour as part of pre-pageant activities.
The rest came from Hong Kong, France, Singapore, and Finland.
Photos released on the Miss International Instagram page on Thursday showed that Magtanong and her fellow beauty queens are headed to Saga prefecture in southern Japan.
“Five selected delegates flew to Saga Prefecture as part of the regional tour of Miss International, sponsored by JETRO,” the post’s caption read.
Magtanong is aiming for the Philippines’ seventh Miss International crown. Her predecessor, Ahtisa Manalo, finished first runner-up to Venezuela’s Mariem Velazco.
The coronation night for Miss International, a Japan-based pageant, will be held in Tokyo on November 12.
