It took three days for Filipino artist Mark Superales to create the "Zombieland: Double Tap" poster.

Depicting the film’s characters as Mt. Rushmore faces, it was chosen as a finalist in the film’s international artwork competition.

The movie recently held a special reception, with one of its stars Avan Jogia in attendance, to honor the 10 finalists.

Organizers said they were chosen among more than 600 entries from 40 countries.

Artists were given access to the film’s images where they created imaginative posters that depicted "Zombieland’s" universe and characters.

Superales studied criminology but he felt that his passion lay elsewhere so he taught himself art and now works as a freelance illustrator.

Coincidentally, the film’s stars said it is also passion that made them decide to get back together for the sequel.

"At the center of it, it's a lot of heart and, you know, finding the people that you love and you want to stick with no matter what the world kind of presents to you. So I think that the sequel 'Double Tap' really does capture the spirit of the first. And, yeah, this is vital to all of us or else we couldn't have made it," Emma Stone shared

Stone added that she hopes the movie will provide much-needed relief and fun for audiences.

"I hope they just have fun, and they laugh, and they feel like they're escaping, you know, this crazy world for a little while to another crazy world of post apocalyptic to be fair, but still," Stone added.

“Zombieland: Double Tap,” now out in theaters, also stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin.
