MANILA – Here are some Halloween events for both kids and kids at heart.

CHAOS NIGHTCLUB

City of Dreams Manila’s Chaos Nightclub ends October on a high note with a Halloween weekend special and a rock festival featuring the country’s most sought after DJs, singers, and bands.

Chaos casts the spotlight on DJs Brandon Jon, David Ardiente, and Emil Angeles to spin retro tunes in “Nostalgia” on October 26; and Trapped, MVRXX, Jet Boado, and Supmerman to showcase different music genres in “Across the Board” on October 27.

On October 28, a ghoulish night dubbed as “Out of the Norm” will feature the Trap and Dubstep beats of DJs JJ Saur, Nathan J, and MK Thompson.

The last installment of Chaos’s rock music festival will be held on October 29, featuring Nicole Asensio of General Luna and Ney Dimaculangan of 6Cyclemind.

CRIMSON HOTEL

Come in your favorite costume at Crimson Hotel’s “Heroes and Villains” event on October 28, which will feature activities such as trick or treat, face painting, games, and many more.

There are two slots available: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at P950 per person, and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at P1,100 per person.

Crimson Hotel is also offering Halloween room packages starting at P7,000 net inclusive of an overnight stay, two passes to the “Heroes and Villains” event, goodie bags, and buffet breakfast for two.

DIAMOND HOTEL PHILIPPINES

Diamond Hotel Philippines is welcoming kids and kids at heart to its “Hotel Transylvania” Halloween event on October 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A ticket costs P1,000 per person, inclusive of a snack box, a party loot bag, and access to the event’s activities such as trick or treat, face painting, glitter tattoo, arts and crafts, photo booth, and live musical performances. Guests have a chance to win a Nintendo Switch with a Joy-Con in the grand raffle draw.

Those who will book the Halloween Room Package at P6,000 net per night in a Deluxe Room from October 27 to November 3 will get to enjoy treats like a free ticket to a Halloween event (per stay basis), buffet breakfast for two at the Corniche restaurant, unlimited Wi-Fi access, and 20% off on massage and laundry. A special rate of P5,800 per night is also available to those who will stay for two nights.

DREAMPLAY

DreamPlay, the Dreamworks-inspired interactive play space at City of Dreams Manila, will hold its annual “Spookfest” from October 28 to November 1 packed with games, activities, performances, and prizes.

Children who wish to join can sign up for the “Spookiest VIP Package” for P1,500 which includes an all-day pass at DreamPlay, an exclusive experience to participate in the “Shrek or Treat Pumpkin Hunt” and “Shrek It Out” costume contest, admission to view the DreamWorks Halloween movie at the Dream Theatre, a pass to create pumpkin-shaped gingerbread cookies at Gingy’s Kitchen, photo ops with Shrek, and a Spookfest bag with DreamPlay goodies.

Kids who come prepared with their scariest, coolest, or most creative costumes can join the “Shrek It Out” contest to be held from October 28 to November 1 at 3 p.m. and get a chance to win an overnight stay at Nobu Hotel Manila, or DreamPlay tickets.
