MANILA – Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo celebrates its sixth year in the Philippines by opening a global flagship store, the biggest in Southeast Asia.

Uniqlo Manila covers 4,100 square meters, occupying two levels of the Glorietta 5 shopping mall in Makati City.

Known for its quality, affordable basics, Uniqlo was brought to the Philippines by the SM Investments Corp. led by Tessie Sy-Coson.

Aside from Uniqlo executives and local partners, celebrities led by brand ambassadors Pia Wurtzbach and Atom Araullo also graced the preview launch of the global flagship store.

Uniqlo Manila boasts of a full selection of LifeWear – the brand’s everyday clothing – as well as sections dedicated to innerwear (AIRism and Heattech), fall and winter outfits, and shirt collaborations (UT, Magic for All, Jump Force).
