MANILA – Expect Barbie Imperial to look like a “young queen” in the ABS-CBN Ball, which is set on September 29.

The “Araw Gabi” star recently had her gown fitting, as in a video published by ABS-CBN Entertainment over the weekend.

Here, Imperial is seen wearing a beige halter backless dress.

“Si Myrrh nag-decide. As in everything, siya. Ganoon ang trust ko sa kanya,” she said, referring to her stylist, Myrrh Lao To.

The stylist, for his part, said: “I think this is the perfect time for her to be the leading lady that she is. She is a young queen for me, so ‘yun ‘yung look na gusto naming ma-achieve.”

“It’s gonna be amazing,” he added.

Imperial said this is the first time that she will attend the ABS-CBN Ball – then called Star Magic Ball – as a single woman.

The actress is hoping that this year’s edition of the formal gathering of Kapamilya stars will be just as fun. “Siguro magiging iba ‘yung feeling. Sana maging masaya,” she said.

Imperial was previously in a relationship with actor Paul Salas.

She is currently rumored to be dating JM de Guzman, her co-star in “Araw Gabi.”
