As a teenager, he would voluntarily teach English and spend time playing with children living in the Manila South Cemetery.

It was then that he realized that he needed to do more in helping improve the lives of underprivileged children.

Leading a small group of dedicated volunteers, he now runs a free after-school learning center which provides academic tutorials and values-formation activities to indigent public school students in Makati.
