MANILA – After conquering the pageant stage, John Raspado is making his theater debut.
Raspado, the first Filipino to win in Mr. Gay World, stars in the sex-comedy play “Solo Para Adultos” (For Adults Only) which will open on October 20 at the Music Museum.
The play is produced by Red Lantern Production, maker of the rap-and-roll musical “Kabesang Tales.” It will be directed by Alejandro “Bong” Ramos, who also serves as one of the writers along with AJ Rollon and James Golla.
In “Solo Para Adultos,” Raspado will portray the lead role of JV San Miguel, a closeted gay actor who will be involved with an aspiring male celebrity Alfred (Vivo Ouano).

Also part of the cast is Aprilyn Gustillo who will take on the role of Veronica Fox, a porn star who is Alfred’s long-lost lover.
