MANILA - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday gave reminders to players of the mobile game Pokemon GO after their office building in Guadalupe, Makati has been tagged as a "Pokemon GO gym."

MMDA said players who want to use the "Wallflowers Pokemon Gym" located at their office in EDSA-Orense Street should observe proper dress code.

"Mahigpit na pinaalalahanan ng pamunuan ng MMDA ang mga nagbabalak na dumayo sa ahensya na hindi papapasukin ang sinumang naka-tsinelas, shorts, at sando," MMDA said in a Facebook post.

Players are also prohibited from fighting Pokemon battles at the gym during late hours, the MMDA said.

"Magdamag na roronda ang aming mga guwardiya upang hulihin ang sinumang lalabag," the agency added.

Pokemon GO, an augmented reality game developed by US-based firm Niantic, Inc., was first rolled out in the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Japan.

The Philippines is among the next 15 countries across Asia and Oceania where the game was rolled out.

Other countries include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
