MANILA—In her interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" Thursday, Patch Magtanong was asked about the opinion of some pageant fans insisting that she should have won the Miss Universe Philippines title instead of Gazini Ganados.

"To be completely honest, I did want the Miss Universe crown," said Magtanong, who was awarded the Miss International Philippines title. "It's what I worked for, it's what I had my eyes on, and it's what I prayed for."

Of her relationship with Ganados, Magtanong revealed that she has this "guilt" whenever she approaches her because of the criticisms, but maintained that both of them are now good friends.
