MANILA – “Mas malaki pa ‘yung walk-in closet niya kaysa sa bahay namin,” a fan commented after watching Heart Evangelista’s latest vlog.

And we can’t blame her.

In the video uploaded on YouTube on Thursday, Evangelista gave a tour of her massive walk-in closet which even has its own living room, balcony, and staircase.

“So one of my most requested videos would be to take you on a tour of my walk-in closet… I did one before for a magazine but it wasn’t as detailed and as intense as now,” the actress said.

Evangelista began by showing her pink-carpeted staircase which is inspired by a Gucci store, with the walls lined with framed Hermes scarves.

She then stepped inside her walk-in closet, with the main space displaying her clothes according to color and type, each of them placed on a black velvet hanger.

“Whites are mostly together, then we shift to blues and blacks… Nudes, a bit of the colors, then white again,” she said as she picked out some of her favorite pieces from both global brands and local designers.

Tucked inside one of the clothing compartments is a “secret” spot where Evangelista keeps all of her stuffed toys. “I don’t know, I guess I just can’t really totally let go of my childhood,” she said with a smile.

At the center of the main closet space is an island for sunglasses, accessories, and some shoes.

Another part of the room is dedicated to Evangelista’s footwear collection which, she said, “is an accumulation of 21 years of collecting.”

“It just didn’t happen overnight,” she assured her viewers.

Evangelista went on to show her living room, followed by her “OOTD spot” and a special room for her shampoo sink where she gets her hair treatments.

The highlight of the walk-in closet tour is the next area, which houses Evangelista’s large collection of designer bags, particularly Hermes.

Just a few steps away is her balcony and office, which she refers to as her “creative space.”
