MANILA -- Avilon Zoo in Rizal is asking for the public's help in caring for its animals amid the coronavirus-induced quarantine.

In a Facebook post, Avilon Zoo said it is offering non-expiring admission tickets to be able to "maintain good animal care and veterinary services in this extraordinary time."

Located in Rodriguez, Rizal, Avilon Zoo is a 7.5-hectare facility that houses more than 3,000 specimens of exotic wildlife, according to its website. This includes more than 500 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fish, and invertebrates.
