MANILA -- (UPDATE) Planning to restock your pile of to-read books? Running out of glue? Need more clay for your kids’ stay-at-home project? Have to replenish your work-from-home supplies?

The good news is You can now buy sticky notes, glue, pens, markers and other work essentials without having to leave home as National Book Store reopened its online store for orders and delivery.

National Book Store’s e-commerce site has resumed its operations and is now ready to fulfill orders within Metro Manila. You can also shop at NBS on Lazada and Shopee.

To make purchasing more convenient for those without a reliable internet connection, National Book Store also introduced its text-to-order service in Metro Manila, Metro Cebu , and Baguio. This service is available Mondays to Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Messages received beyond 4 p.m. will be processed the next day.

To order, customers may text the mobile number assigned to a specific area. Payments can be done through bank transfer or credit card. Once the order has been confirmed, customers may pick up the items from the designated stores or book a delivery-on-demand service.

If your area has no assigned hotline yet, you may send your orders to NBS’ social media channels.

Aside from online purchasing, parents can download free stay-at-home activities for their kids’ continuous learning on the NBS official website. If you want to learn new skills, the website also has free downloadable materials.
