The 2018 edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant was successfully held at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.

Rachel Peters passed on her crown to her successor, Filipino-Australian beauty Catriona Gray, who was named the country’s representative to this year’s Miss Universe.

She was a runaway winner with five other special awards including the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Long Gown, Pitoy Moreno Best in National Costume Award, Miss Ever Bilena and Jag Denim Queen.

Prior to joining Binibining Pilipinas, Gray already represented the Philippines in the Miss World pageant in 2016 where she finished as part of the Top 5.

The other winners on Sunday night include Bb. Pilipinas Globe Michelle Gumabao; Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental; Karen Gallman; Bb. Pilipinas Grand International Eva Patalinjug; Bb. Pilipinas Supranational Jehza Huelar; and Bb. Pilipinas International Ma. Ahtisa Manalo.
